President Moon Visit to 3-Centeral Asia Country incl. Uzbekistan
President Mr. Moon Jae-In will visit three Central Asian Countries including Turkmenistan,
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan which are the major partners of the new northern policy for 7 days and 8 nights from April 16 to 23.
First, Mr. Moon will visit Turkmenistan from 16th to 18th and have a summit meeting with President of Turkmenistan Mr. Verdi Muhammedov, and will discuss practical cooperation for
mutual prosperity of the two countries.
From April 18th to 21st, he will visit Uzbekistan and discuss bilateral relations with President of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev as a step forward and future-oriented cooperation.
Finally, he will visit Kazakhstan from April 21st to 23rd and meet with the new President of Kazakhstan Mr. Tokayev and then finalize his schedule.
Cheongwadae said, "President Moon's visit will further strengthen the traditional friendly relationship with the three Central Asian Countries where many of Koreans live, and will spread the consensus within the Central Asian Regions on the new northern policy, so it is expected to be an opportunity to build the foundation for the future cooperation.
