Information regarding the movement of foreign nationals when entering the territory of the Republic of Korea

Representatives of the Central Headquarters for Anti-Epidemic Measures reported that at present, there is a constant detection of additional cases of infection from patients entering from abroad, while these persons are quarantined at home or moving, as a result of which, it was decided to introduce and inform the public about the following mandatory clauses.

1. Before boarding a plane in another country

- Do not board if you have a fever or symptoms of respiratory illness

- Do not stay at the airport with accompanying persons, it is obligatory to wear a mask

- Arrive at the airport to check-in for a flight with a margin of time, in order to avoid crowds

- Where possible, use non-responsive ticketing and ticketing facilities such as a check-in machine

2. During the flight

- Wear a mask at all times during flight

☞ avoid talking while eating on the plane

- Disinfect hands after using the toilet and other public places during the flight

3. When entering the Republic of Korea

  - Wear a mask at all times

  - Disinfect hands before baggage claim and after baggage claim

  - Use vehicles intended only for visitors from abroad

☞ use municipal-supplied means, bus, train or taxi, while disinfecting your hands, and avoiding eating and talking

☞ when using personal transport, avoid physical contact with other people, such as shaking hands, etc., use rear seats to maintain a distance

- Carry out disinfection of luggage and belongings upon arrival at the place of residence

l disinfect all surfaces of the vehicle, that is, handles, seats, etc., on which a person arriving from abroad was transported

Comply with all rules and regulations (in your home, in a designated facility) as per your home quarantine notice
