From 26 to 30 November, an official visit of the delegation led by the Governor of Fergana Province, Mr Bozarov, to the Republic of Korea took place.

The main schedule included a visit to Chungcheongnam-do province, meeting with Governor Kim Te-heum and official conference, a visit to Pyongtaek city, meeting with Mayor Jong Jang Seon and holding a business forum, a visit to Kimpo city and meeting with Mayor Kim Byung-soo, as well as visiting major institutions and companies for various negotiations and signing of memorandums of understanding, during the visit there was also an opening ceremony of the Ferghana-Chungcheongnam-do Trade Centre.

Last May, Chungcheongnam-do and Ferghana Province signed a memorandum of understanding between the two regions, and Kim Chang Keon, the First Deputy Chairman of the Association, is assisting in key tasks as foreign trade adviser of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, foreign trade adviser of Chungcheongnam-do Province and political adviser of Pyongtaek City of Gyeonggi-do Province.

Meanwhile, in Pyeongtaek City, Gyeonggi-do Province (Mayor Jong Jang Seon), a ceremony was held to plant a commemorative tree for Bozarov and present him with a certificate of honourable citizen of Pyeongtaek City.
