On June 7, First Deputy Chairman of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, Kim Chang Keon, visited the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and held detailed discussions with First Deputy Minister Mr. Kuldashev Abdulla Khamidullaevich on the topic "National Safety Education Development Project". The Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA), together with the Korea Federation of Fire Facility Association (KFFA), planned to form Consortium and carry out the main project on behalf of the "National Safety Education Development Complex Project". This would include the construction of safety education facilities, such as "fire-fighting education training center, schools related to fire-fighting, veteran hospitals, welfare resorts for public officials, sports complex, etc."  to establish the Republic of Uzbekistan's national safety and fire safety system.  The aforementioned project is planned to be built on an area of ​​about 150 hectares in the city of Nurafshan with a total investment of about $ 50 million. In addition, this project will be carried out by a Korean consortium and will be donated to the government of Uzbekistan after 40 years of work, which is expected to greatly contribute to the development of friendly cooperation between the two countries. The First Deputy Minister stressed that for the successful implementation of the project in the near future, he will form a group of high-ranking officials from among the civil servants of the government of Uzbekistan and send them to Korea to visit specialized institutions and the deputy chairman. Kim Chan Keon replied that he would actively support the project. The National Safety Education Development Projectis expected to greatly contribute to the training of fire safety experts in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the establishment of a public safety system, and the two sides agreed to do their best for the success of the project.
