On September 18, First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon had dinner with the Chairperson of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ms. Tanzila Narbaeva, who is on an official visit as a state guest, and held in-depth discussions on various topics. 

During the meeting, she expressed her special appreciation for the various activities that First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon has been doing as a trade advisor to the Uzbekistan government, contributing to the development of bilateral economic development and friendly cooperation. First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon responded by expressing his gratitude to the Chairperson of the Senate Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ms. Tanzila Narbaeva and the Senate for their active support and cooperation in facilitating the entry of Korean companies into the Republic of Uzbekistan and the smooth promotion of businesses. 

The meeting also included in-depth discussions on the project to establish the only women's university in the Republic of Uzbekistan and an eco-friendly power plant. And the Chairperson of the Senate Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ms. Tanzila Narbaeva made an official request to First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon for the projects and promised active cooperation and support from the government and the Oliy Majlis for the successful implementation of the projects.

Meanwhile, important national projects in the Republic of Uzbekistan need to be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and passed by the Senate for final approval.
