On May 28 this year, a video conference was held at the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction of Uzbekistan Mr. Iskandarov, representatives of Hanshin - Mr. Dong-Kwak Kwak, Senior Vice President of Taekman Yoon, Mr. Chan Yong Kim, Jangyeon Kim, Senior Vice President of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, Mr. Kim Chan Gong, Secretary General Park Hyun Chol and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea. 

Representatives of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Management of State Assets of Uzbekistan also took part in this video conference. The parties discussed issues regarding the creation of a unique Central Asian Design Research Institute based on three design institutes LLC QISHLOQQURULISHLOYIHA, JSC TOSHUYJOYLITI and JSC UZOGIRSANOATLOYIHA. 

Negotiations between the two countries on the creation of a joint research and development institute began in April, and now Korea is considering all the documents for the implementation of the project.

At this meeting, Uzbekistan provided information on improving the standards of architectural construction and the implementation of modern standards, and also discussed the direction of improving the architectural quality of Uzbekistan with the help of advanced solutions and experience in Korea. Mr. Kwak Dong-hoon, Executive Vice President of Hanshin Corporation, expressed interest in the rapid implementation of this project and the conclusion of cooperation agreements.

In addition, both sides decided to hold a video conference, appointing responsible employees from both sides for the stage of the project bid and the effective implementation of the project.
