On the 17th, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of firefighting and industrial safety was signed between the Fergana region government and TDC Co., Ltd.
Fergana region Governor H.E. Mr. Bozorov Hayrulla, TDC Co., Ltd. CEO Choi In Chang, Association Chairman of the board of directors Kim Chang Keon, Deputy Governor Mr. Iqboljon Ergashev, and Fergana region emergency department head Mr. Ilhomjon Kochkarov attended the meeting.
The prospects for cooperation in the field of firefighting and industrial safety were discussed as well as some issues of modern housing construction in regard to Korean firms investment in the Eco-City under construction in Fergana.
Governor H.E Mr. Bozorov stated that the Fergana is entering a new era of development in Uzbekistan, with the increased construction of multi-storey buildings, and the number of large-scale production facilities is constantly growing while the importance of protecting residents from fire and further enhancing safety is becoming more and more vital. In particular, he claimed that the cooperation to research and implement Korea's advanced experience in this field would be highly effective.
TDC Group Co., Ltd (CEO Choi In Chang) have supported the project to deliver 3 special fire trucks, 1 medical ambulance and protective equipment to Fergana in 2022. TDC claimed to donate 5 additional medical ambulances in 2023.
