On May 1, Chairman of Board of Directors Kim Chang Keon, who is on an official visit to Uzbekistan, met with Sun Moon University President Hwang Sun Jo and First Deputy Minister and Head of Early Childhood Education Ms. Agrippina Shin. During the meeting, which was hosted by Chairman of Board of Directors Kim Chang Keon, they discussed the development of education in Uzbekistan and cooperation with Sun Moon University.

President Hwang Sun Jo expressed his desire to expand cooperation with excellent universities in Uzbekistan and invite many Uzbek students to Sun Moon University to provide advanced education and various programs that can connect them with employment opportunities after graduation. He also promised to actively support the second generation of Uzbeks living in Korea by holding cultural events on campus so that they do not forget their identity.

Chairman of Board of Directors Kim Chang Keon said that he would strive to expand cooperation between Sun Moon University and excellent universities in Uzbekistan. He also added that he would like to contribute to the development of education in Uzbekistan through such cooperation.

Meanwhile, First Deputy Minister and Head of Early Childhood Education Ms. Agrippina Shin thanked Chairman of Board of Directors Kim Chang Keon and President Hwang Sun Jo for sharing creative and innovative ideas for the development of education in Uzbekistan and promised to come up with relevant measures and provide support from the government aspect.
