On May 31, First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic and met with Ambassador Ms. Aida Ismailova. During the visit, First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon delivered 100 hanboks for ethnic Koreans as part of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association CSR activities for ethnic Koreans and discussed various topics.
The meeting mainly focused on the development of education and economic cooperation in the Kyrgyz Republic. Ambassador Ms. Aida Ismailova expressed her gratitude to First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon for the significant contributions he has made to the development of various fields in Central Asia, including in the Republic of Uzbekistan, through his goodwill and influence. She also requested his interest and support in the areas of economic development and friendly cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
In response, First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon promised to dispatch an economic mission to the Kyrgyz Republic within this year, as well as to promote cooperative cities between the municipalities of the two countries, and to actively support the development of the education sector.
The visit was an opportunity for Korea Uzbekistan Business Association to facilitate CSR activities for ethnic Koreans living in the Central Asian countries and demonstrate its commitment to continuous efforts to promote educational and economic development in the Kyrgyz Republic.
