Official Visit by Governor of Fergana Region to Meet with Governor of …

On March 27, Governor Khayrullo Bozarov of Fergana Region, Chairman of the board of directors Kim Chang Keon of the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, Regional Prosecutor Bakhtiyor Ismoilov, Deputy Governor Ikboljon Ergashev, and Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Abdusalomov, KIUF’s Rector Park Jun Ho and others visited Chungcheongnam-do Province. They had a meeting with Governor Kim Tae Heum, signed MOU for cities of friendship and cooperation, and discussed various matters.

During the meeting, there was a lot of discussion about human exchanges between the two sides, especially cultural exchange cooperation. As a first step, Chungcheongnam-do Province invited Governor Khayrullo Bozarov to participate in the Daebaekjaejeon Festival in the second half of this year, and Fergana Region invited the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do Province to participate in the Fergana Ceramics Culture Festival in September.

In addition, it was agreed to organize official visits to Uzbekistan with companies in Chungcheongnam-do Province to provide opportunities to enter the region and explore various business opportunities. In particular, both sides discussed actively promoting a project to send workers from Uzbekistan to companies in Chungcheongnam-do Province.
