A Video Conference was Hosted to Promote a Solar Power Project in Navo…

On the afternoon of March 9, a video conference was held with the First Deputy Head of Department of Investment, Industry and Trade of Navoiy Region Mr. Elbek Gafforov, Deputy Khokim of Kanimekh District Mr. Mansur Mavlonov,  Chairman of Board of Directors of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association Mr. Kim Chang Keon, CEO of Cheongdam Electric Power (the project organizer) Mr. SJang Sung Yong , CEO of TDC Group Mr. Choi In Chang , and the Counselor and the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Seoul.

The meeting was held to discuss the current status of the project after the signing of the MOA last month, as well as communication and consultation measures for 

further progress.

Chairman of Board of Directors KUBA Mr. Kim Chang Keon noted that the project has a broad scope of not only solar installation work in Navoiy Region, but also the establishment of a factory for solar installation-related manufacturing locally.

Chairman of Board of Directors KUBA Mr. Kim Chang Keon added that Uzbekistan is also paying a lot of attention to renewable energy, so he hopes that the project will be successfully implemented and set an example for others. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that each stakeholder should actively communicate and cooperate with the project to move forward quickly.
