Hanshin Engineering & Construction is accelerating the construction of a new Korean-style city in Uzbekistan.
In particular, this will be directly taken care of by the Chairman of the Board of Hanshin Engineering & Construction, Choi Yong Son, in connection with which the expansion of business in the Republic of Uzbekistan is expected.
According to the government of the Fergana region of Uzbekistan, on the 29th, Chairman of Hanshin Engineering & Construction Choi Yong Son met with Governor Khairullo Bozorov.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the development project "Kokand Hanshin Park City" in the city of Kokand.
This project is the first overseas project undertaken by Hanshin Engineering & Construction outside of Southeast Asia. This project in the city of Kokand will be implemented in four stages and it is planned to build a residential complex consisting of approximately 5,100 residential buildings, schools, commercial facilities and green areas.
Earlier in March, Hanshin Engineering & Construction and the governments of the Ferghana region signed a $250 million (about 360 billion won) investment contract and construction is planned to start after approval from the authorities.
