CEO Kim Chang Keon appointed Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan.

President of Evergreen Motors was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan.

CEO Kim Chang Keon is currently operating as an official partner of Kia Motors & Hyundai commercial vehicles in three Central Asian countries: Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

In addition to special relations with Central Asia, there has been especially close ties with Uzbekistan for the past 10 years and with Ambassador Mr Vitaly Fen. Such relations  will contribute to economic development and civil diplomacy in the future for both nations. 

As the first plan this year, in order to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the relocation of overseas Koreans (Uzbek Korean) in Uzbekistan, we decided to promote local medical service together with Chonnam National University Hospital.

The Uzbekistan medical service project, which is expected to begin in this September, is planned to involve more than 60 volunteers including medical personnel. The project aims to promote the advanced medical technology of the underdeveloped region, and enhance the pride of Korean(Uzbek Korean)society, which would be a great turning point for the diplomatic and economic relations for both countries.
