Grand Open of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Center

On Nov 9th 2018 “Grand Open of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Center" was held on 29F,NEAT Tower, Songdo-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Inchon Metropolitan City.

Almost 300 guests from domestic organizations and corporations related to Uzbekistan took part in this official ceremony. Especially, there were special guests as follow: Mr. Jamshid Khodjaev, Minister of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Vitaliy Fen, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Korea, Mr.
Mukhsinkhuja, Deputy Governor of Fergana Region in Uzbekistan, Mr. Kim Jin Yong, Chairman of Incheon Free Economy Zone, and 15 foreign ambassadors in Korea.

Mr. Kim Chang Keon (Currently: President of Evergreen Motors Group/ Adviser to Prime Minister Rep of Uzbekistan /Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan Embassy in Korea) was appointed the first President of Uzbekistan Trade Representative in Korea, mentioning that the Uzbekistan Trade Representative in Korea is established for the first time in Korea to implement a pivotal role in the economic development and trade enhancement of both countries. Mr. Kim Chang Keon remarked that he is full of the thrill heart and joy for its establishment. He said: "Moreover, the officials of the Uzbek Government and Uzbekistan Embassy in Korea reside daily, and plan to support relevant services at this Trade Representative Office. I will also try hard to make the foundation of friendly cooperation and economic development for both countries as the first President of the Trade Representative in Korea." 

On that day, both Korean music performance team “Sangsan Ramp”, which strives for the excellence of Korean culture, and “Traditional Performance Team" from Fergana region in Uzbekistan performed in celebration of the establishment of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Center. Their performance embodies the touching moment of both countries' close partnership.
