Video conference with the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kara…

On December 30, negotiations in the format of videoconference were organized between the leadership of Seovon University and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to establish cooperation in the field of higher education and discuss the issue of opening a branch of this university in Karakalpakstan. The event was attended by the Rector of Seowon Son Sok Min University, Deputy Chairman of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association Kim Chang Keon, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Muratbay Zhumanov, Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Alibek Kamalov, Deputy Khokim of Nukus Yerkin Allanov, heads of higher education institutions of Karakalpakstan, as well as officials of various ministries and departments. Rector of the University Seowon Son Sok Min expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Uzbek side. He noted that a special working group will be created at the university to implement this project in Karakalpakstan. The need for the early start of discussions and exchange of information at the working level was separately emphasized. First Deputy Chairman of the Association Kim Chang Keon added that a group will be created through social networks to discuss the progress of the project and future plans for the project.
