First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon, who is on a visit to Uzbekistan, visited the Hakimyat of the Fergana region on March 16 to discuss with Governor Bozorov the general details of the current projects that the Korean side plans to implement and to discuss timelines for future progress. During the meeting, Governor Bozorov proposed the construction of a Korean-style apartment, which is underway in the city of Kokand and other districts of the region. Also, the governor noted the creation of factories for the production of masks, which are now under preparation, suggested additional discussions after a thorough study of the market. In addition, a number of issues were discussed on the provision of a land plot for the construction of a building for the engineering practice of the KIUF, the governor of special lectures for KIUF students, the creation of a Korean hospital, the promotion of direct flights to Incheon and Fergana, as well as the holding of a business forum in September-October this year.
