Ban Ki-Moon, Attended the Forum of Aral Sea.

On November 27, 2018, the former UN Secretary- General Mr. Ban Ki-Moon participated in the Forum on Environmental Improvement
in the Aral Sea Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The current condition of the Aral Sea region is turning into a serious concern. Desertification and decadent
environmental condition, worsening of living-condition, and increased morbidity have been causing new socioeconomic and environmental problems that require
comprehensive research and resolution. During the forum, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon discussed the development strategy for the improvement of the local environmental
status, and the results of applied research in high technology and environmental sciences with biologists and chemists in Uzbekistan.
Moreover, on Korean side for the forum Mr. Kwon Yong-Woo Ambassador of Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan and Mr. Kim Chang-Keon President of Evergreen Motors
(Adviser to Prime Minister Rep of Uzbekistan & President of Uzbekistan Trade Representative in Korea) took part, who has been conducting the major contributors to the economic, cultural and service activities in Uzbekistan for the past 15 years.
