Mr. Kim, Senior Vice Chairman of Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association, visited the city of Kokand in Fergana region on the 18th and held various discussions with the mayor Mr. Usmanov. The discussion addressed the ongoing development of Hanshin Park City Consortium of 5170 households- A Korean-style new city- and the Kokand Special Economic Zone project.

 

Hanshin Park City New Town Development Project is currently in full swing, starting with the official opening of the model house. 

Construction will be promoted in earnest at the time when the land decision statement is approved. It aims to be completed by the end of 2025.

 

Meanwhile, this time, Fergana Kokand Korean New Town Project is supported by the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea. Thanks to the support, South Korean company Hanshin Engineering Construction, Plus International, and Eurasia Networks Group have been forming a consortium to facilitate this project. Moreover, it is the largest global construction project in the Republic of Uzbekistan. This project is highly expected to contribute greatly to the economic development of both countries and the development of the advanced construction sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
