First Deputy Chairman Mr, Kim Chang Keon visited the Minister of Preschool Education, Agrephina Shin. During their meeting, in-depth discussions were held on the current situation and plans of the Ministry of Preschool Education's internet notification app, Sboard, which is being promoted by EduLink Global. The app was officially launched on September 1 of this year.

 

In addition to grasping the phenomenon after the official launch of the Sboard, discussions were focused on complementary issues for the insufficient areas and various types of educational content to be installed in the Sboard app in the future. Both sides also agreed to prepare additional necessary aspects as soon as possible and start secondary development for the upgrade.

 

Furthermore, they discussed the establishment of the Tashkent Campus, which Uzbekistan's Korea International University has been promoting with the Ministry of Preschool Education. And based on the talks and arrangements over the past year, the two sides agreed to sign this contract in November and start the project in earnest. They decided to promote the project promptly to open the university in 2023 September.

Today's meeting was attended by Uzbekistan's Minister of Preschool Education Ms. Agrepina Shin, First Vice Minister of Preschool Education Mr. Bejimkurov, and Directors of each department. And as Republic of Korea's representatives, First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon and Korea International University's President Mr. Park Joon Ho have attended the meeting.
 
Currently, the EduLink Global Sboard project and the establishment project of Korea International University Tashkent Campus, which are supported by Korea- Uzbekistan Business Association, are expected to contribute greatly to the development of advanced education in the Republic of Uzbekistan and friendly cooperation between the two countries.
