On February 8, Mr. Maeng Seok-woo, Head of
the overseas business division at I-SENS, a producer specializing in diabetes
diagnostic devices, and Mr. Kim Chang Keon, Deputy Chairman, held meetings with
stakeholders on entering Uzbekistan and establishing a local production plant.
At today's meeting, Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim gave a presentation on market
conditions in Uzbekistan along with providing various information on entering
Uzbekistan. And I-SENS asked for support for the business association related
to its entering Uzbekistan.
The project has been actively taking place since 2020 with the support of the Uzbekistan Embassy in Korea and the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association on the discussion of the company's entering into Uzbekistan. However, the project has been pending due to the global pandemic issue. With today's meeting, the two sides agreed to constantly promote the project for its success.
