Chairman of the board of directors Mr. Kim Chang Keon held a dinner with the First Vice chairman of the Senate of Uzbekistan National Assembly, who is officially visiting Korea as a special envoy to President Yoon Suk Yeol's inauguration on May 9. Mr. Safaev Sadyk Salihovich and Chairman of the board of directors Kim Chang Keon held pleasant talks on various topics.

At the dinner on this day, the year 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between South Korea and Uzbekistan. Mr. Safaev Sadyk Salihovich praised Mr. Kim's contribution to the economic development of the two countries as a trade advisor to Uzbekistan's cabinet.  Along with gratitude and warm words, Mr. Safaev Sadyk Salihovich especially asked Mr. Kim to continue playing an important role in the future.

In particular, Mr. Safaev Sadyk Salihovich, the First Vice chairman, promised to provide active support at the parliamentary level to ensure the successful implementation of major projects currently being carried out by affiliated companies of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association.

For reference, important projects that require approval from the Uzbekistan government must be approved by the Senate to obtain final approval.
