On May 23, First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon attended the signing ceremony at Sun Moon University for a joint project on fostering regional innovation talent in South Chungcheong Province and five Central Asian countries.

The signing ceremony was attended by Vice-Governor Mr. Kim Ki young of South Chungcheong Province, Vice Mayor Mr. Shin Dong hyun of Cheonan City, Vice Mayor Mr. Kyo Cho Il of Asan City, Ambassador Mr. Yusuf Toir Sharifzoda of the Republic of Tajikistan, Vice Ambassador Mr. Zokir Saidov of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 3rd Secretary Mr. Kubanychbek Murataliev of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of 20 organizations including local governments, major institutions, universities, and companies, including President Mr. Hwang Sun Jo of Sun Moon University and President Mr. Yug Geun Yeol of Yonam College.

Through this project, First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon expressed his intention to actively cooperate with local governments and universities in attracting excellent human resources and students to Central Asia, especially from the Republic of Uzbekistan, to solve the difficulties of local universities due to the decline in the school-age population, and to solve the serious problems of labor shortage for companies.

In preparation for the signing ceremony, First Deputy Chairman Mr. Kim Chang Keon has been playing a pivotal bridge role through his special relations with the five Central Asian countries and has been supporting related projects.
