Association member DH Media Global opens production line in Uzbekistan

The Company DH Media Global, a member of the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Association, organised a ceremony on the 16th to mark the completion of the construction of a production line in the special economic zone ‘Chirichik’ in Tashkent region and the start of full-scale local production.

The completion ceremony was attended by DH Media Group's CEO Shin Yeongin, First Deputy Chairman of the Association Kim Chang Keon, Secretary General of the Association Jung Sang Won, key Uzbekistan government officials as well as local workers who celebrated the completion of the construction with a landmark opening ceremony and toured the production line after the ceremony.

DH Media Uzbekistan (locally named DHMT Global) will produce a wide range of high quality sound equipment, video surveillance systems, smart boards, etc. for the local market and will expand by developing exports to the neighbouring Central Asian region as well as domestic demand in Uzbekistan.

During the opening ceremony, First Deputy Chairman Kim Chang Keon emphasized the importance of completing the construction of the production facility in Uzbekistan through 100% direct investment of DH Media Global Group, a leading sound equipment manufacturer in Korea, and wished to promote economic cooperation and friendship between Korea and Uzbekistan.
