Meeting with Erkinjon Turdimov, Governor of Syrdarya Region

On January 19, Erkinjon Turdimov, Governor of Syrdarya Region, and a delegation from the region arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Korea.

On the first day of the visit, an official meeting and dinner were held with Chairman Kim Chang-kyun, during which the parties held in-depth discussions and consultations on the

implementation of projects by member companies of the Association, including the construction of the new city of Gulistan City and the establishment of a university.

Particular attention was paid to the Gulistan City development project, and the parties reached an agreement to begin full-scale implementation of this project in the first quarter 

of this year.

The official meeting was attended by the governor of the region, Erkinjon Turdimov, Deputy Governor Khujamov Babur, heads of key departments of the regional administration,

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Alisher Abdusalomov, as well as a representative of the Gulistan City development project consortium, Mr. Jeong Tae-gun 

(head of the Loel law firm), and other officials.
