On 5 February, Chairman Kim Chang Keon visited Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), where he held talks with Rector Tulkin Teshabayev.
During the meeting, the parties conducted an in-depth analysis of the current state of the education system in Uzbekistan and outlined ways to expand inter-university cooperation between the two countries. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of academic mobility programmes for faculty and students, as well as the development of dual degree programmes, which are being implemented under agreements between leading universities in South Korea and TSUE. Chairman Kim Chang Keon expressed his readiness to provide comprehensive support for these projects, acting as a liaison with 12 key Korean universities that are members of the association.
It is worth noting that Chairman Kim Chang Keon has been appointed as a visiting professor at TSUE from 2024.
