On May 28, the Governor of the Fergana Region of the Rep of Uzbekistan Mr. Shukhrat Ganiev visited Incheon City Hall and met the Mayor of the Incheon Metropolitan City Mr. Park Nam Choon in order to sign MOU for the development through the active exchange of both cities.
Fergana is a region of great economic growth potential with one of the highest active foreign investment.
Therefore, the MOU signed with Incheon will play a considerable role in attracting more Korean-invested companies to Fergana as well as developing social and economic aspects of the region.
At the signing ceremony, Ambassador of the Rep of Uzbekistan in Korea Mr. Vitaliy Fen and Chairman of the Korea-Uzbekistan Business Center Mr. Kim Chang Keon (currently Adviser to Primer-Minister of the Rep of Uzbekistan) also attended the celebration. Both Mayor and Governor agreed to work harder for the city’s growth of economy, society, and culture.
