Korean Economic Delegation Visits Uzbekistan

The Korean economic delegation to Uzbekistan visited Fergana and Tashkent for 4 days and 5 nights from March 5 to March 9. Evergreen Motors CEO Kim Chang Keon attended the present delegation of honorary ambassador as a representative of the Economic Mission and carried out overall planning and related business support.

 The visit was held for two days in Fergana and Tashkent on a chartered fright with a capacity of about 130 people. On the Korean side, Evergreen Motors Group, Hyundai Motor, 

POSCO Daewoo, KDB, Korea District Heating Corporation, Energy companies, public corporations, and small and medium-sized companies participated. On the Uzbek side, Chamber of Commerce, Fergana, Tashkent, Ministry of Labor, and Ministry of Education joined in. 

During the visit of the economic delegation, active consultation and MOU were concluded between the two organizations and companies. It was a good opportunity to create remarkable achievements such as a contract to start the business through JV establishment.

In addition, both sides have agreed to establish the Uzbekistan Trade Representative Office(Incheon Northeast Trade Tower) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent) Korea Trade Center. CEO KIM, Chang Keon of Evergreen Motors Group was appointed a Representative of the Trade Representative Office. 

CEO KIM, Chang Keon was also appointed a government adviser on trade and investment from the Prime Minister & Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan for playing a significant role in economic development and private diplomatic development in both countries.
