Tashkent Research Center for e-Government Cooperation established

On June 16, the Korea Uzbekistan Business Association held a discussion of the project of the Tashkent Government Electronic Government Research Center with senior officials of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of Uzbekistan, and the Department of International Digital Cooperation of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security of the Republic of Korea. 

Representatives of the Korean side commented on funding plans and the issues of sending three experts in the field of e-government and the digital economy to implement the project.

The parties agreed to resolve the issue of signing an updated agreement between the ministries of the two countries on the establishment of a Joint Research Center for e-Government Cooperation in the capital.
