On August 4, in the conference hall of the association, negotiations were held by video-conference between the deputy khokim of the Fergana region M. Abdurakhmonov, senior vice president of Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd. Ha Chong Hyun and the First Deputy of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association Kim Chang Keon, General Secretary Park Hyun Chul and staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.
During the negotiations, issues of modernizing the heat supply system of the city of Kuvasay through the introduction of cogeneration technologies were discussed. Discussions on this project began during the visit of the khokim of the Fergana region Sh.Ganiev to the Republic of Korea in July this year, within the framework of which a meeting was held with the management of Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd.
Also, the South Korean side proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of this project.
