On October 15, the head of the representative office of the Association, Mr. Yun Jeong Seok, visited the city of Kakand and held negotiations with the mayor of the city, Mr. Umarov, regarding the implementation of the "Kokand City" project and the creation of K-Beauty & Care cosmetics production in the Kokand FEZ. During the negotiation process with the participation of the Mayor of Kokand and responsible officials, a detailed discussion of support plans for the progress and implementation of the project was held.

Last month, during a visit to the city of Kokand, the first deputy of the Association, Mr. Kim Chang Keon, together with representatives of the Hanshin company, for one week, work was carried out to draw up a feasibility study for the Hanshin project "Kokand City". As a result of the successful completion of the work, the start of the full-fledged implementation of the project is expected soon, and the Head Office of the Association plans to attract investments from Korean companies in the implementation of projects for the production of masks, tests for the detection of coronavirus and K-Beauty & Care cosmetic products.

The government of Uzbekistan held discussions on expanding the list of goods exported to Korea, such as dried fruits, fruit and vegetable and flour products.
